Board Members

President
Don Lisko
has lived on Tapps Island since 1997.  He is a recently retired banker, currently working in commercial real estate leasing & sales.   Don was appointed to the Board in August 2007 to fill the unexpired term of a board member who resigned.  He was immediately elected treasurer of the Association, then the following year was elected Vice President.  He wants to develop a long-range operating plan for the improvement of the Association’s facilities and operations while maintaining profitable restaurant and golf course operations.  Don enjoys boating, golfing and landscaping.

Vice President
Ralph Mason
feels especially privileged to live on Tapps Island enjoying the beauty of the lake and mountains and the beauty of the exceptional community that we share.  He wants to work to preserve and enhance our quality neighborhood and the Island amenities that we enjoy.  Ralph also feels that Covenants are important and require periodic review to insure they adequately protect the value and livability of our homes and community that we enjoy.  They need to be modernized to reflect today’s best construction practices.  Enforcement must be consistent and tempered with good judgment.


Treasurer

Perri Nieman has been a Tapps Island resident since 2000.  She was privileged to serve the Tapps Island community as an employee in the TIA office for three years and is now serving our community as a Board member, providing unique insights and perspective that can benefit our very special community.

Secretary
Sandy Shuman
, Tapps Island resident for over 14 years, enjoys serving on the landscape committee.  She has always enjoyed serving in various capacities and now feels she would like to serve in her own community.  Sandy feels very blessed to live on this unique and beautiful Island.  She enjoys the people that live here as well as the beauty!  As a board member Sandy would like to be an advocate for all island members in continuing to maintain, improve and foresee future needs of Tapps Island.

Trustee

Jon Bial, has been a resident of Tapps Island for over 25 years. Recently retired from over 38 years of working in the packaging industry, Jon feels he now has the time and energy to serve on the Board. Jon's main goal is to help insure that the unique Tapps Island quality of life is both maintained and enhanced. He looks forward to helping the Board address the issues and concerns identified by Island residents in the recent survey.

Trustee

Jeff Krueger, has been on the Island for about 20 years.  He is a Boeing manager and, in his free time, enjoys snow skiing, golfing, and boating.  As a board member Jeff looks forward to an opportunity to help shape our community. We have a premiere neighborhood with great amenities, both social and recreational but it takes effort to maintain and improve those qualities.  Jeff feels he can contribute in helping make Tapps Island a desirable community people want to call home.

Trustee

Rich Kumar, has been a Board member since 2001. As a Tapps Island resident Richard's goal is to continue to listen to the voice of the residents and work towards improving the community. He considers being financially responsible to be the utmost importance. Richard believes we have a great way of life on Tapps Island and hopes that his contributions help continue the tradition. Richard works as a manager for BMW of North America and is involved in softball, golf and his favorite hockey.

Trustee

Scott Wehmer has lived on Tapps Island for about eight years. He was elected to the board in 2010. As a board member, Scott’s goal is to work with the board and community to continue improving and upgrading the amenities, keeping pace with the ever changing island landscape. Scott works as a Director for Iron Mountain and enjoys boating, wakeboarding and golf
