Storm Debris Removal

NO OUTSIDE BURNING ALLOWED!

THE OUTER ISLAND HAS BEEN REOPENED

We have a large volume of yard waste created by the storm. The following Tapps Island resources are available to assist residents with removal.

UPDATE: Yard side pickup will occur until noon on Sunday.  Please have your debris ready to be picked up before that time.  There will be a charge of $35.00 per truck or trailer load that will be added to your monthly bill.

The chipper in the boat launch overflow parking area will remain until 3pm on Sunday.  You may drop your storm debris there before that time.  Please sign in on the form attached to the clipboard at the site.  No chipper will be available after that time.  There will be a charge of $25.00 per truck or trailer load that will be added to your monthly bill.

Our crews are doing their best to accommodate everyone.

Anything you can do to help in this process is appreciated.

MURREY'S YARD WASTE PICKUP (from Murrey's website) Customer's yard waste service that was missed due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions may set out any additional yard waste items that do not fit in the provided 90-gallon container for curbside service at no additional cost. These additional items must be contained in either a compostable bag or 32-gallon with two handles clearly labeled “yard waste”. These items will be collected on your next regularly scheduled pick up day in 2 weeks.
